Jetstar Airways is a low-cost airline based in Melbourne, Australia. The airline is a subsidiary of Qantas and operates an extensive domestic network, and some regional and international services. Its main base is Melbourne.

Jetstar also has stakes in sister companies Jetstar Asia / Valuair in Singapore and Jetstar Pacific Airlines in Vietnam.

Although base in Australia, Jetstar has a huge popularity in Singapore and Indonesia. In Singapore, Jetstar is named with Valuair, and offers service including Singapore and Indonesia major cities such as Medan and Jakarta.

The low cost Jetstar concept is based on Malaysia low cost Airasia. Passengers can choose whether to buy a baggage or only a hand carry to put in a cabin.

About Jetstar / Valuair in Singapore
Jetstar Asia and Valuair are part of the Jetstar Group's value based network which aims to provide all day every day low fares to South East Asia's most popular leisure destinations.

Jetstar Asia launched fares on 15 November 2004 with the inaugural flight taking off on 13 December 2004 to Hong Kong, one of the first three launch destinations from Singapore. The creation of the airline came six months after Jetstar first commenced its domestic operation in Australia.

Unlike Jetstar in Australia, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, Jetstar Asia is majority Singapore owned and based company. The company is managed by Newstar Holdings Pty Ltd, majority owned by Singapore company Westbrook Investments Pte Ltd (51 per cent) with the Qantas Group holding the remaining 49 per cent of shares.

The existing CEO is Ms Chong Phit Lian. Mr Choo Teck Wong (Mr Dennis Choo), owner of Westbrook is Chairman of Newstar.

From Singapore, Jetstar and Valuair fly to 17 destinations in ten countries including Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Penang, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Manila, Taipei, Yangon, Bali, Jakarta, Medan and Surabaya with a fleet of seven A320 aircraft.

Hooters Air is not a common airlines. They know passengers are human, not only want to fly but also must get extra service. Different with another Airlines, what make Hooters Airlines so special are the sexy stewardess. Hooters Air Stewardess are all hot and dressed up in a hot uniforms also. The women in the cabin are in orange short-shorts and tight T-shirts on flights.

Hooters Air airline operates it’s main hub in Myrtle Beach, SC. They originally offered air service out of Atlanta, Baltimore and then added the Bahamas and Ft Meyers’ Florida to continue their fun in the sun party theme. Its head office is located on the grounds of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, Selangor. It claims to be the first community airline in Malaysia. Firefly operates from two hubs - Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang, Selangor and Penang International Airport. The airline's first flight was on April 3, 2007 from Penang to Kota Bharu.

FireFly is one of Malaysia famous airlines besides Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and Airasia.
